Winter is coming for Nekos

My love is offline *sob sob* and I used the time to build some more *yay*!

And the result are new Neko ears, new Neko Tails, and a special edition for the Lucky Chair!





I fell in love with the Ice edition for the Lucky Chair :D








But I love the other versions just as much. Makes it really difficult to decide what to wear today :D

Colours available are black, brown, blond, and crimson. Tails and ears are scripted again and some of the ice crystals come with a bling. Turn it on/off by typing /1bling off or /1 bling on.

You know, I am really happy right now. So many things worked out well for me lately, in SL as well in RL.
I guess my SL are news are more interesting for you ;)

I have been stalking Lucky Chairs for all my Second Life and I have seen those little kitty boxes under the chairs and I also have used the Lucky Chair station a dozen times. But NEVER before I had thought about the connection between both! Yes, I am sometimes a bit naive and thought putting out a Lucky Chair is enough to be part of the LC network. Bless! Luckily the enlightenment came with Ashia's post and as I like to say... better be enlightened late than never :D
I've contacted Hazel immediately and thank god she liked this blog and sent me one of the kitty boxes xD Now I am REALLY connected to the network!

Then I have just seen today that the folks from the old estates seem to have even more trouble as now tier is apparently going to be raised in Jan 2009. I've done some maths and saw that my new land is even cheaper than the old one was, and with the increase of tier I am even happier that I left!!!

So all in all I can say that everything works out pretty well. Which is why I want to run around and scream Hoooooo! at everyone I see xD
But instead of declaring myself a lunatic I used my energy to create some new poses for you. Two are released now, I have two others finished already but I want to take the adds with friends of mine (and my partner) who aren't online for 2 or 3 days, so you can expect some more releases by the end of the week.

And this is me and my hunni who's helping me modelling for that pose (as if he would mind touching my ass ;) ). It is the perfect pose for some quiet and intense moments and you can easily get lost in the other one's eyes...

New Year Neko tails and ears

Wohoo! I have finished updating all my boxes. Now I only have to finish replacing them in my vendors, lol!

But as promised, I finished my first Neko set, now available at the mainstore!
The ears twitch and the speed and the way of twitching of the tail can be changed with a drop down menu when you click it. If someone else clicks your tail an emote menu is offered to them.

Available in black, blond, brown, and crimson!

Merry Christmas and lots of newness!

First of all, I wish all of you a merry Christmas! I know it is a bit late but my RL has been hell lately.

I graduaded from university and went through dozens of written and oral exams during the last 14 months. My last one was on Monday, December 22nd, so go figure what I've done the past couple of weeks ;)
But I passed all my exams so that I can now finally leave uni with 2 degrees *yay* But that also meant that I had not bought any Christmas presents yet and I didn't have much time for SL either. The few precious moments I was able to spend online I mostly hung out with friends or was DJing to get my head off from studying for a while.

But I also started moving my mainstore. The old Estates group who was managing the land I had is a bit weird. To be honest, I think something fishy is going on there. During the last year land prices dropped immensly so that everyone who had a few spare Lindens was able to buy the land. The convenant was rather open so that you were able to do pretty much what you want. Which ended in me having a neighbour who rented out part of their land to a sex club who were shouting their "Oh, you're so hot! Do me baby" over the whole SIM and also in my shop. I had to complain a couple of times until it stopped. Since LL changed their pricing of open space SIMs the situation became even worse. There were lots of people complaining in the Estates group chat that they got a notice from LL that their SIM was closed because the Estate owner apparently didn't forward the tier. LL opened the SIMs so that they were able to pick up their stuff, but the tier they pay in the terminals never reached LL. If you try to contact the owner or any of his managers with a problem you have you either never get an answer or you get one when it is too late. And now I had to discover that the neighbouring SIM is already gone and on the one I was only me and the one with the former sex club on it were left.

So I decided to pack my things there and look for a new SIM during the Christmas holidays. But I was lucky. The Estates I have my private land on also has a commercial SIM, the community is great, and the landlady and her estate managers are great. They had a 4096qm parcel free and because I am already in the estates for more than 1.5 years I didn't have to buy in and even got 2 weeks tier free. It was just perfect and meant for me ;) So during the few moments I was online I started to build the new store and moved the vendors step by step.

At the moment I am doing the most painful work I can think of: Changing the LMs in all items and then changing all the packed boxes in all vendors in all stores *uuurgh*.
Oh, and because I've been busy studying all year I changed my shop name but didn't rename my old items. Which I had to do now as well.
I hoped to be done by Saturday and then have a big opening party but I just didn't make it. It is a rather boring task I was doing while camping for hair or other stuff ;) I am still not done but I hope that I am tomorrow. We'll see how far I get. But when I am bored I have to do some fun stuff in between. And as I have the best ideas when I should concentrate on something else I got some cool ideas for new products, especially my own series of Neko attachments. I have already finished a New Year's edition of ears and tails and maybe I can release them on Saturday, and if not on Sunday. I have lots of other ideas as well which I won't tell you now ;)

But another fantastic thing happened that gave me some inspiration. My SL bf and I spent a few hours online on Christmas Eve. As he's American and I am sitting in Europe time zones were always a bit difficult to manage. So it was already in the middle of the night for me (just as it is now ;)) and I thought about how much he means to me and how close we got. So I clicked that little button in his profile and asked him if he wants to be my partner. AND HE SAID YES :D
He then did the cutest thing ever: He got us rings from JCNY where you can include personal messages. I got one in silver with a diamond heart. It is the most beautiful ring I've seen and I just adore it... and I adore him... :)
And as I am talking about inspiration: I have a perfect pose in mind: What does a girl do when she gets a ring from the man she loves? Exactly! She shows it off to her friends ;)

It's Winter! Christmas Is Coming!

My real life still keeps me extremely busy right now, but I still found the time to create a few new things when I turned my home parcel into a little winter wonderland.

First of all, my cute build a snowman animation. I am really proud of it as it is my first animation and it just fits perfectly for this winter theme. Like the poses you can test that one in my store.



Do you like candy and gingerbread as much as I do? I was wondering if I shouldn't live in a gingerbread house, but I so often changed my mind that I now have 2 gingerbread houses, a large one and a small one. Depending on your needs (and prims) you can pick the size suitable for you.





I am totally into the north pole theme, so I've created Santa's home. It has a Christmas themed wallpaper, and even the Christmas decoration and the bookcases are included. Not included is the reindeer, I love it too much :D

I made this pose in the first place for my dear friend Boris Janus, who was a fantastic listener for me during the past few days. He's the one and only original Blarney Stone Cat in SL Dublin! If you see him around, give him a cuddle or some of tuna! ;)

More free Halloween stuff!

I am such a freebie whore. And while I was hunting, I came across a funny Halloween themed Unlucky Chair. Of course I needed to get one for my own store as well :D

But do you know what happens when I am too motivated? Little Mira opened the notecard and read "If you already own a lucky chair you know how it works..." and closed the notecard again. The product sign behind the chair was too small for my taste, so I happily edited it like i did with my other chair too...Then I tested it and suddenly I was sitting a metre above the chair... which means that instead of cutting my head off the axe thingi is now going through my stomach... so I opened the notecard again and read further "we don't think it is wise to edit this chair version because it has very sensible particle effects, etc in it... resizing is also not a good idea... don't say we didn't warn you..." D'oh!
Anyway, the chair is still there and I put a nice golden diamond necklace for you in there.
But luckily this is not the only halloween stuff I have for you.
I also got an Apple Bob. You can either get a foul or wormy apple or a prize ^^ which prize it is is displayed on a poster.
You think this was everything? No, you're wrong! I also made 3 very nice Halloween ghost and vampire pictures. You can win those if the pumpkin lanterns that are lying around in the store carry the first letter of your name!

Cheerleader!

When hunting freebies you come across the most wonderous things.
A while ago I was in a shop that concentrates on American Cheerleader uniforms (but I have to admit, I don't even know for what kind fo sports they are cheering for :D).
And I am also roleplaying at the World of Hogwarts roleplay and am the Quidditch Co-Ordinator there. We also have a Hogwarts themed cheerleader team there.
So while trying to get my head off I made a cheerleader pose!
It was quite fun finding that shop with the uniforms again and finding 4 volunteeers who would get those dollarbies and pose with me.

Something ends....

I'm going through extremely hard times in RL right now. The last days have been tearing my inside appart... I've been trying to distract myself in all possible ways but all I seem to be able to is crying...
But I think a public blog is not the right place to post the miseries of my life...

Instead I better show you how I tried to work through my mistery and tried to distract myself.
The result are 3 new poses that have a lot to do with my current situation (Well, not really difficult when I cannot think of anything else right now.).

But I guess everyone has gone through those moments and maybe my poses can at least help you to get over it...


Who hasn't been in this state yet: you're life seems to be falling into pieces... all that is left are tears and broken glass, a broken heart... your hopes and dreams destroyed...



If you're lucky you have friends that will be there for you. You often only find real friends in situations you need them. If you found such friends, value them highly and be a friend yourself if they need you...




Maybe there will come the day when you're not bitter any more and can move on... But maybe this longing for what you had will never go away... too precious was what you've lost and you would do anything to turn back time...

Some free stuff!

I've also added some cool new things to my shop!

1) An item camping chair!
You need a spooky ghost for your halloween decoration? No problem! Just camp for it now! And if you're not patient enough you can buy it on the board behind it.



2) A new profile pick item giver!
If you have my store in your picks you only have to click the "free" board and you will get this great blood fountain for our vampire garden party! If you don't have a pick yet and are creating one, then let me tell you that it can take up to 48hrs until the board registers it.



3) I've put a new dress into the lucky chair! It's the black golden stars gown from my Star Collection.
With renaming the shop and renaming all my products (how much I hate this work, lol) I will get rid of some of my products. And I think my former gowns have been in the LC long enough so that it is time for a new one :D

4) At the moment I am preparing a Halloween hunt. I am planning on releasing it in the week before Halloween. I am not going to tell you what you can grab there, then :D You'll have to come and seek yourself :D


Oh, and before I close this post, I just have to show you how my mansion now looks like with all the ghosts flying around and stuff. On a side note, I bought the fog, lol!

New Poses

Along with the creepy mansion I just HAD to make a crime scene for inside. Have I mentioned the fantastic wall textures yet? Ripped off textures, blood spots on the wall... there just had to be some blood and a victim on the floor :D




Making poses is so much fun :D And you can do some silly stuff :D Now I can hang around in my front garden. Maybe I should make another one so that friends can hang around together with me :D

The day of new releases....

I have been busy the whole week working on new stuff. Therefore don't be surprised about all the posts that will come up now :D

First of all I want to present you my new home! :D
In perfect time for Halloween I've built a Haunted Mansion and I loved it so much that I've swapped it with my treehouse :D

I absolutely adore the textures, inside as well as the outside ones! And my little parcel surrounded with tons of trees was perfect for taking the adds :D





I will post another picture later after I've presented you my other works from this week.

Le SIGH!

I had a long conversation with a scripter friend of mine today (well, yesterday, as it is already past 3am in the morning), and there is no way to make the ship drivable without spending a hell of money on scripts or being able to script myself.
I will have another look at SLX today and maybe ask around in the SL forums as well, but it looks like that the ship is becoming mere decoration or home (and it looks great as decoration or home!).

I have already started a new big project: a haunted house for Halloweeeeeeeeen *muahahahahahaaaaaa*

Peeking through the key hole...

Yes, the pirate ship I was talking about all the time is finished.
My only problem: It doesn't want to drive!!! I have absolutely no clue about scripts. I found some good freebie ones (at least they sounded good to me ;) ) and I will have a friend looking into it during the next days.

As soon as it is on sale I will give you some more details about what is included and what it can do, etc. But here is a little image for you to be all excited about and to make you looking forward to the release!

I'm in a total piratish mood at the moment. I got myself 2 adorable pirate outfits and I am busily building and making poses which is SOOO much fun. And the more I make the more ideas I get.
And to share this fun with you, I've made a freebie, available for you in the group and in the store.


Is there a ship coming?


For all those pirates and non-pirates out there, I have made a little goodie. Since I made this pose for a hammock I had this picture in my mind and now I've realized it. What could be better than hanging out in the sun, being lazy, and getting rid of the hangover, and having a very comfortable spot on some barrels and linen.



If you want to try that pose out, just come to my store and hang out on it a bit :D Hope you'll like it. It's one of my favourite places, though :D

Kimberly Hair

Building hair is a lot of fun! The point where it gets annoying is when you have to texture it in textures with and without alpha layers ind tons of different colours. But luckily you can connect work and fun.

So I found myself standing in ~silentsparrow~ this morning in front of a lucky chair because I wanted to win a green dress. While I was waiting there and having a chat with the people there (you can find more on the blog here: ), I was retexturing the hair again and again.
And here is my result:

New Hair

It always scared me a bit to build hair because it just takes so much time!!!

But I was in the mood to build during the last 2 days and I found some nice hair texture on slexchange and I finally made my first hair style.
And I have to say I really like it!

"Amber" comes in 4 colours: black, brown, red, and blond.
Each pack contains 4 different colour shades and the lovely hair slide can be attached seperately and comes with bling on/off!

House Shirts Hogwarts themed

I can't really tell you if I created the Hogarts shirts first or the business shirts. Probably because it developed out of a custom request and as it is with building, as soon as I've started and creativity flows you never know what will follow.
In this case it were 5 shirts suitable for Harry Potter fans and roleplayers, and the 5 business shirts for casual everyday wear for everyone.

New Business Shirts

Along with the new shop i created some new shirts. The sleeves are pulled up over your ellbows and a tie is losely hanging around the shoulders. Each pack includes a shirt with tie and one without.

New Mainstore

I was sharing my parcel with a friend of mine so that we could both start our business with a mainstore. She hasn't been online much since then and didn't pay tier for a couple of months so that I finally returned her stuff. Winning space (and prims *grins*) I decided to rebuild my shop.

I adored several Japanse shops for quite a while now, because they combined atmosphere, a place to hang out, and shopping all in one place. I also ovten get inspired while I am building and the result you can now see in Boulevard City! It is a mixture of underground neko hangout and a fairytale playground above!

A big opening party will follow this weekend. Day and time will be announced soon!

Kitty Collars

This time I can present you some very cute Kitty Collars. A black ribbon with a little golden bell. Each set contains of a collar witout and a collar with bell.

Brand New Slippers!

Yes, I WAS quiet, but when you got used to something you start missing it when you don't have time to do it. And it was good to build again during the last 2 days. Building and chatting with friends are great to relax, and when you have friends around you to chat with while you are building that's even better (thanks Sid for the company in the sky ;) ).

Well, and this is the result of my creative flow: 4 new pairs of slippers, again Hogwarts related but also wearable by everyone else!
